Breeding conditions:

No lemmings, voles, owls or foxes were seen. One breeding pair of Arctic Skuas was found. Common wader species (both phalaropes, Grey Plover, Ruddy Turnstone, Ruff, Temminck's Stint, Dunlin, Common Snipe, Long-billed Dowitcher) numbers were an order of magnitude below normal levels.
